From Idea to Every Touchpoint
McDonald’s Monopoly is one of the most successful promotions in the country, driving massive participation and repeat visits. It turns everyday orders into a game, generating hundreds of millions in incremental revenue and nationwide engagement.
I developed the visual system that brought the campaign to life across packaging, in store, and outdoor. I led all food photography, creating bold, craveable imagery that reinforced the energy of the game. Every touchpoint was designed to feel connected, clear, and built to drive participation at scale.
Packaging
Packaging was the centerpiece of the entire campaign. It wasn’t just a container, it was the game itself. Every cup, wrapper, and box needed to clearly communicate how to play while building excitement in the moment of purchase.
I developed packaging systems that balanced clarity with energy. The design had to guide behavior instantly, making it obvious that every item came with a chance to win. At the same time, it needed to feel bold, collectible, and unmistakably part of the McDonald's Monopoly experience.
In-Store
The in store environment was designed to fully immerse customers in the promotion. From counter cards to window clings to menu integrations, every element reinforced the same message: play, collect, win.
